Front Cover Drafts

This was my first draft of my front cover for my magazine. I liked the look of the bricks in the background, however it is not finished because I decided a better look would be without the bricks and for the boys heads to be over the mastead.

I then experimented with cutting the bricks out and decided this result was the look I was aiming for. This is also not finished as the finish is rough and needs bricks being cut out down the bottom.

This is the beginning of my final front cover. I made sure the picture was cut out properly and neatly and added a red background to contrast the black and white everywhere else.

This is my final front cover for my magazine. After adding a red background and editing the photo, I added the coverlines, a puff, a barcode, etc, to add the final touches.
