Feature Page Drafts

When I first began my main feature, I came up with this original layout. I had already chosen which photos I wanted, and spent time cutting them out on Fireworks. I put them into place down the bottom of the page. I put the band's name at the top of the page as it is simple and it is clear to the readers what the article is about. I outlined the textboxes so you can see how my columns are going to be, and put in a text box for a pull quote for later.

This is my final feature page. After adding in my text, making it fit around the pictures, I changed where my pull quote would be because it effected the layout of the text. I then added facebook and twitter details at the bottom for fans, to find out about new albums etc. This is to add to the business side of my magazine, a way to make money. To make the page more interesting and colourful I added red strips at the top to put page numbers in and the Fringe title. Red words were also added to make the page more colourful.
